Welcome to my archives. This is a collection of glass that I've made over the years at different studios and schools, showing the evolution of my work. I enjoy experimenting with different styles, and techniques. This gallery displays that part of me, and shows the design elements I've worked with in the past, all of which are a part of what I do today in the present. Most of these pieces are in my personnel collection, and are not for sale. Enjoy.......

Dizzy Pot (approx 12" diameter), Cal Poly SLO 2000

Dragon Vessel (approx 16" tall), Phoenix 2002, My obaachan (grandmother) used to display a ceramic dragon in the front entrance of her home in Hiroshima, Japan. When she passed away I inherited this dragon. This piece with a drawing of my obaachan's dragon on it was made as a gift for my sister's wedding.

Ojizousan (approx 4" tall), My mom really likes this piece.

Gas Mask (approx 17" tip to tip), Cal Poly 2001, I think at this point in time I was concerned with the various fumes I was inhaling in the studio, and their impact on my health/life.

Kneeling Woman, (Pilchuck 2001), During the summer of 2001 I took a solid sculpting course from the Italian master glass maker Dino Rosin. We spent two weeks working on sculpting nude women in different positions. this is one that I made while there.

venetian goblets , (Vitrelux 2006), I love making goblets. It's sort of like classical piano meets extreme sports for glass blowers. I rarely make cups, but I had a chance late in 2006 to spend a day only making cups. This was the result.

Jack in the pulpit, (ccgas 2004), This is an old tiffany design with my own twist. My roots are in old american art nuevo glass forming and coloration. the pulpit is to old american technique what goblets are to venetian technique.

peacock pots (ccgas 2004), This is very typical of my work while in california. I was using early american coloration techniques, and creating simple asian influenced forms. I love this style of glass.

vine vase , (ccgas 2004), more of that style of work.

conch shell , (ccgas 2003), an old ken classic.
